As it is said \u201cNecessity is the mother of inventions\u201d. This is how Ms. Dia Arora founded Vaidyaacharya.\u00a0Vaidyaacharya\u00a0is the result of the transformative power of suffering, used by Dia, the journey of a sufferer, who turned into an explorer, then a user, and then the transformer.<\/p>\n

Dia Arora was going through skin reactions even though she had just \u201cnormal\u201d skin. She has observed the worst conditions with her family and friends who have above-average skin sensitivity or some who have severe skin conditions. She went into the root of the cause of these and found that all these are side effects of the chemicals and other products used by today\u2019s so-called top brands in making soap, shower gel, shampoo, face wash, and other cosmetic products. They use caustic chemicals, and many others to create foam, synthetic fragrances to smell good, and preservatives to last long. All these products might look good and smell pretty, but all these have undesirable results on the skin and deep tissues, especially if used for a long time.<\/p>\n

Dia gives all credit for this to her mother, who shared with her the power of herbs and the so-called \u201cDadi Ke Nuske\u201d, which have been used by Indian ladies for ages. Her mother uses basic herbs and natural products like, turmeric, chandan, multani mitti, aloe vera, lemon, neem, chickpea flour, rice flour, rose petals, and charcoal, etc. Dia, from mortar and pestles, has understood the importance of all these herbs at an early age.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, the rot runs a lot deeper than just chemical usage in cosmetic products. Today\u2019s busy lifestyle, polluted air quality, contamination of water sources, hazardous effects of pesticides used in agriculture, and above all hazardous chemicals used in soaps and other cosmetic products.\u00a0\u00a0Dia strongly believes that everything from your cosmetics to your toothpaste may be slowly poisoning you unless you\u2019re using truly herbal\/natural alternatives or products made with chemical ingredients that have been exhaustively tested and\/or developed by specialists such as dermatologists or scientists who specialize in this kind of work, and this is not the case in most products even if they might claim so.<\/p>\n

With the sole objective of helping the world from her knowledge of herbs and natural products, Dia has started this start-up to spread awareness about herbs and their advantages, make herbs easily available to increase their usage and to replace daily use cosmetic products with herbal cosmetic products.<\/p>\n
